The busy and popular Victory Hall is managed by a team of about ten Trustees and provides facilities for the local community; with over 300 people visiting the hall each week.
We have a few vacancies for Trustees because our three oldest members have recently retired. We are therefore looking for new blood that can bring enthusiasm and fresh ideas on how we might continue to improve our facility.
Our most important vacancy is for a new Secretary. Our present secretary is leaving after 13 years in the job! This is a voluntary position. You will need secretarial skills, to be living in Somersham and to be prepared to sometimes help the team with other activities.
As a Trustee, the voluntary work is not onerous. We meet once a month in the Victory Hall on a Tuesday evening and at other times to help with events such as a Film Night, some gardening or putting up Christmas decorations.
